The hotel, located at Power Road and Main Street in Mesa, will have 70 units and is expected to provide temporary housing for up to 500 people per year.
A total of $27,570,004 will be invested in Arizona for a new fleet of electric vehicles from the bipartisan infrastructure law led by Senator Kyrsten Sinema and shaped by Senator Mark Kelly. The funds will be used to replace Grand Canyon National Park’s aging bus fleet with new battery electric buses (BEB) and compressed natural gas (CNG) buses – accelerating Arizona’s clean energy economy.

The funds for the project come from $1.5 million allocated from Little Rock’s American Rescue Plan Act funds and $1.5 million in federal money dedicated to homelessness assistance under a program called HOME-ARP. Over $1 billion in funding assistance has been approved for pension plans based in the Bay Area, according to a press conference held by the White House on Tuesday. The additional funding will supplement retirement plans for thousands of workers... The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation will be providing the additional financial assistance as part of the American Rescue Plan. PBGC is a pension fail-safe program, and it works similarly to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in that it can guarantee some pension protections up to a certain amount.

Biden said the investments in the country’s infrastructure, the Inflation Reduction Act and the CHIPS Act had brought 13 million new jobs to the country, 13,000 of those in South Carolina. One of the companies benefiting from the incentives of Biden’s economic plan, solar firm Enphase Energy, announced a partnership with manufacturer Flex Ltd. expected to bring 600 jobs to the state.
Specifically, to South Carolina, President Biden championed the $11 billion in manufacturing and clean energy investments along with the $2.6 billion in funding already awarded to infrastructure projects in the state. Biden's visit showcased a clean energy manufacturing partnership between Enphase Energy and Flex Ltd. It is estimated that the partnership will create 600 jobs in the state and 1,200 more throughout the United States -- a direct benefit from Biden's Inflation Reduction Act.
