📣💥 Breaking News: Former (MAGA) President has been indicted for crimes
Former (MAGA) President has been indicted for crimes. Let’s be clear, this is not a joyous occasion, this is a stain on our nation. I am saddened to my core because for 245 years and 46 presidencies we have never had a leader that was indicted and still faces other indictment charges.
As Americans, we deserve leaders who follow the law, act honorably in our interests and govern in our name. A Grand Jury of everyday Americans across race, background and party has indicted the former President for bribes and corruption, weighing the evidence and deciding he must stand trial.
I believe in the rule of law, I believe that the former President is innocent until proven guilty, and that he deserves every opportunity to defend himself in a court of law. I also believe that the former President is not above the law and the indictment indicates that he must answer for the crimes he is accused of.
