If you thought 34-time convicted felon President but not a leader Donald Trump would slip quietly back into the White House, think again. But here’s the truth: we are united, ready, and determined to defend our communities against every fascist power grab.
Today’s headlines confirm what we already know: this administration is about force, intimidation, and erasing accountability.
📌 The Guardian (2025) reports that Trump ordered unhoused people he passed en route to his golf course to leave Washington D.C.—a chilling abuse of power that treats human beings as nuisances to be removed, not neighbors to be helped.
📌 The Washington Post (2025) details how the FBI dispatched agents to patrol D.C. streets as Trump vowed a “crime crackdown.” Let’s be clear—the FBI’s job is not to terrorize communities to score political points. This is policing as propaganda.
📌 Politico (2025) exposes how a federal appeals court shot down Trump’s bid to make secret a public database of federal spending—a database crucial for holding his administration accountable and ensuring Congress’ constitutional power of the purse is not trampled.
These aren’t isolated incidents. They are part of a pattern—an authoritarian playbook we’ve seen before. Trump didn’t win because a majority of the country wanted him. In fact, nearly 80% of people who call America home did not vote for him, or for the complicit Republican extremists in Congress who are dismantling our democracy to serve the powerful few.
He clawed his way back to power through the BIG LIE, and now he’s wielding that power to silence dissent, punish the vulnerable, and shield corruption from public view.
