Celebrate Brown v. Board and the importance of equal justice!
🗽 People Power United champions progressive values and power to the people.
Today is the Anniversary of the Brown v. Board 1954 decision. The 1954 Brown v. Board Supreme Court decision remains a celebration of justice and inclusion. Â This landmark case serves as a reminder of the hard work required to create a country where everyone can thrive and the important role that our federal courts play. To protect and advance equal justice, we must fight for a fair federal judiciary!
Take action by calling for the Senate to make our courts work for us by prioritizing filling all judicial vacancies with nominees who are committed to equal justice and who come from all of our communities.
Federal judges - from the Supreme Court to district courts - must work for all of us, not just the wealthy and powerful. Unfortunately, we have endured many devastating decisions from our courts - from overturning the constitutional right to abortion to gutting key voting rights protections.
For our judiciary to work for all of us, we need the Senate to prioritize the confirmation of diverse nominees who are committed to the rights of all of us. Each confirmation of a judicial nominee who is committed to our civil rights makes a difference in the lives of people throughout the country and strengthens our democracy. The stakes have never been higher, and the Senate must continue confirming outstanding judicial nominees as a top priority.
Tell your senators: We need these seats filled with judges committed to equal justice who reflect our nation’s rich diversity without delay.Â

Hi, my name is [name], and I’m a constituent from [city]. I’m calling because our federal judiciary matters to me and the time is now to make our courts work for all of us. Many federal judges have made devastating decisions that will have lasting effects on our lives, including our freedom to vote, our right to abortion, and so many other rights. We need a path forward, and one critical way is to ensure our courts are filled with diverse judges committed to equal justice. There are a number of outstanding nominees waiting for the Senate to act. Please prioritize the selection and confirmation of judicial nominees who are committed to civil and human rights and who reflect and represent all of our communities. We need fair-minded judges who will protect the rights of all of us, not just the wealthy and powerful.  Â
Thanks for making the call for equal justice!
