In response to recent Supreme Court shenanigans, People Power United - a progressive grassroots group - issued the following statement:
“The Supreme Court has become unhinged. There is no power like that of the people, and People Power United stands ready to protect our communities against any and all injustices,” said Laurie Woodward García of People Power United.
People Power United will continue to oppose such harm to our community and champion civil rights for all.

Washington Post: Justice Alito reports concert tickets, stocks in 2023 financial report
Tobi Raji reports on Justice Alito’s financial disclosures, which were released on Friday. Alito is one of two justices on the Court who own individual stock–the other being the Chief Justice. Alito did not report any travel on his disclosures, but noted “concert tickets valued at $900 last year from a German princess known for her conservative Catholic views.”

Holmes and Judge Allison H. Eid. She spoke about the need for her to wear a bulletproof vest at times and camaraderie between justices on the bench.
