Shout out to everyone who came out for our monthly People Power United meeting: Progressive Mobilization Call, where we discussed current topics and ways to advocate in our communities. No worries if you missed it, here are the highlights:
We can make excuses, or we can make a change. People Power United members are all about making change!
Voting is a superpower, and we have all things voting on our page: https://www.peoplepowerunited.org/vote, bookmark it and please share. With this link you can register to vote, request a vote by mail ballot, find your voting location, and more. It is secure, and data is protected by Rock the Vote.
The freedom to vote is a fundamental right. We value our freedom to vote to elect leaders who respect our will, protect our interests, and govern in our name. Sadly, that right is under attack. We cannot wait until the next election cycle; we must act now to protect our votes and voices in our democracy. We can and must come together and champion laws that:
We must get loud on voting rights! Make those calls to your lawmakers requesting these protections, write letters, and sign petitions; we need to protect our vote and our voice in our democracy. Here are some actions we can take:
