Happy Friday to all my rowdy friends! I wanted to share the recording from our virtual Good Trouble Lives On rally honoring Congressman John Lewis and the power of the people.
What John Lewis left us was more than a legacy—it was a challenge. He walked across bridges and stood up to batons so we could have the right to vote. That right is under attack once again. But we are not powerless. We are the people—and when we come together, we create change.
In our community, we’ve shown up for reproductive freedom, immigrant justice, workers’ rights, and more. As John Lewis reminded us: “When you see something that is not right… you have a moral obligation to do something.”
I hope this rally lights a fire in your belly and inspires you to take bold action. Go be awesome today—because you are.
