💕Happy Valentines Day!
"Never believe that a few caring people can't change the world. For, indeed, that's all who ever have." - Margaret Mead.
💕Happy Valentine’s Day!
I believe there is a difference between saying you believe in "liberty and justice for all" and standing up for those values daily in your words and actions. It is harmful to all to be an imposter. Sadly, last night, House Republicans once again showed how they care nothing for America's well-being. They impeached Secretary Mayorkas on trumped-up charges. Rather than deal with securing the border or working on bills that help with housing or healthcare, House Republicans are recklessly discarding bipartisan immigration reform and instead playing games with the American people.
Regardless of what happens in the House, the true strength of America is in her people. You are the power! With love in our hearts and hard work, we can and will reclaim our nation from cruelty, chaos, and confusion.
Go be awesome today! Because you are!
❤️ Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️

I believe in the power of the people. People Power United members believe in the possibility of change and work to make it happen. I have seen the love and determination of folks stepping up to write letters and postcards to voters, signing petitions and letter campaigns, making calls, sending texts, hitting doors, and dropping literature. There is no power like that of the people, and People Power United stands ready to protect our communities against any and all injustices. - Laurie Woodward Garcia, People Power United

Margaret Mead was the Head of the Sociology Department at Michigan State University when I was there getting a minor in sociology. One of the key things our education system needs to put more emphasis on is creating more caring people. And, fewer Capitalists.
Thank you for reminding me. Margaret Mead
