Hey there! I wanted to give you a heads up. I need your help. I need your story.
Republicans in Congress are waging war on working families, and their weapon of choice is a budget soaked in blood money and corporate greed. This isn't politics—this is life and death. We’re pushing back, but I need your help. Please read below and help with today’s ask-we need your story.
THEY'RE TARGETING THE MOST VULNERABLE AMONG US
This isn't just budget cuts—it's systematic violence against the people who built this country. Veterans who served our nation? CUT. Families struggling to put food on the table? CUT. Young people aging out of foster care with nowhere to turn? CUT. Parents sacrificing everything to raise the next generation? CUT.
They're not just balancing books—they're balancing human lives against corporate profits, and they've chosen their side.
THEY'RE DESTROYING HEALTHCARE TO FEED THEIR DONORS
Right now, Medicaid provides lifesaving care to 1 in 5 Americans—nearly half of all children and over 8 million seniors. But that's not enough suffering for them. They want MORE.
Their plan will rip healthcare away from 10.9 million people and let insurance companies abandon another 5.1 million by refusing to extend premium subsidies. The result? Over 51,000 preventable deaths every single year.
Let that sink in: 51,000 people will die so billionaires can buy another yacht and fund kidnapping folks in our community and endless wars.
THEY'RE COMING FOR REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM EVERYWHERE
Don't believe their lies about "states' rights." The same people who overturned Roe v. Wade are now trying to defund Planned Parenthood nationwide. Cutting Medicaid will impact Planned Parenthoods work to provide healthcare services in our community, They've already banned abortion in 20 states, but that was just the beginning. Now they want to control every uterus in America. No exceptions. No escape.
THEY'RE ROBBING FROM THE POOR TO PAY THE RICH
Families are estimated to lose $1,600 a year and while children go hungry, millionaires get tax breaks worth twice as much as what the entire bottom half of America receives combined.
This is class warfare, and we have the power to stop them.
Every movement that changed history started with people like us saying "ENOUGH."
The civil rights movement. The labor movement. The suffragettes. They all faced impossible odds and corrupt systems designed to crush them. But they fought anyway—and they won.
NOW IT'S OUR TURN
Our voices are our weapons. Our stories are our ammunition. Our collective action is our victory.
Congress needs to hear from us before it's too late. Not tomorrow. Not next week. RIGHT NOW.

The time for half-measures and polite requests is over. This is our fight. This is our future.
