📢 Holiday Memories of Love and Solidarity
🗽People Power United is a grassroots group of over 200,000+ members in all 50 states-powered by people like YOU. We champion progress and power to the people.

Merry Christmas!
I know this is a busy day for many of us—meals to prepare, gifts to wrap—but I wanted to take a moment to reflect on how love can triumph over hatred and hardship. These memories remind me of the incredible power when we show up for each other, even in challenging times.
In 2019, amidst national turmoil, we organized an Impeach and Remove rally that went beyond its purpose. Together, we gathered 26 baskets of food and a truckload of toys for families in need. Even during those difficult times, our love for our neighbors shone through. It’s a reminder that when we come together, we can make a difference, no matter the circumstances.
During the Trump administration, ICE Miramar became a symbol of cruelty, with thousands of immigrants seeking their last chance to stay with their families. This facility, hidden in the middle of suburbia, was a heartbreaking place where families who had lived in our community for decades were torn apart. But even there, love found a way to push back against hatred.
Every Wednesday, a beautiful group of local activists, known as the Circle of Protection, stood in solidarity with those in line. We offered coffee, drinks, and snacks, creating a small refuge of compassion in a harsh reality. One of my favorite memories is from the Circle of Protection’s holiday toy giveaway, where I had the opportunity to walk children from those long, grueling lines to meet Santa, receive toys, and share smiles. Despite the cruelty happening around us, those moments of joy and love reminded me that we can rise above even the darkest circumstances.
To everyone reading this: thank you for bringing your love and people power into our communities. Your words and actions help build a world free from racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, antisemitism, homophobia, misogyny, sexism, ageism, ableism, sizeism, transphobia, misogynoir, elitism, and bigotry. You are proof that together, we can create the future we want to see. We can create a community that treats everyone with dignity and respect and empowers them to thrive.
Whatever holiday you celebrate—Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa—I wish you a joyful and healthy holiday season filled with love and hope. Let’s carry this spirit forward into the new year!

The People's March
We all march for different reasons, but we march for the same cause: to defend our rights and our future.
If you believe that decisions about your body should remain yours, that books belong in libraries, not on bonfires, that healthcare is a right, not a privilege for the wealthy; if you believe in the power of free speech and protest to sustain democracy; or if you want an economy that works for the people who power it—then this march is for you.
The People’s March is about one thing: our power.
It’s a bold demonstration of the resilience of resistance:
-We march to unite the people who’ve been the backbone of resistance for generations—and to welcome even more -We march to remind civil servants they answer to us -We march to inspire, energize, and drive change long after the day is done.
This is our moment to remind Americans everywhere — where the power truly lives: with the people.
Let’s make it count.

Thank you for starting and heading People Power United. What a positive organization pushing for the betterment of all. I am thankful to be able to be a part of it. I am thankful for all my family and friends and for the Social Security Fairness Act which may save our family assuming the big orange guy isn't successful in privatizing or eliminating Social Security and Medicare.
