Friends,
I know many of you are outraged by the Senate’s confirmation of Russ Vought—one of the key architects behind Project 2025—as director of the Office of Management and Budget. We made calls, we showed up, and we sent letters and petitions to our lawmakers. As expected, the vote fell along party lines, with Senate Republicans doubling down on their commitment to the MAGA agenda and Project 2025, while Senate Democrats stood with the people, fighting tirelessly through an all-night session to defend our democracy from the looming threat of autocratic rule.
This is a setback, but it only fuels our determination. The battle for our democracy is far from over, and together, we will continue to resist, organize, and fight for a government that serves all of us—not just the powerful few.
At People Power United—America’s largest grassroots movement with over 200,000 members across all 50 states—we are not backing down. We will keep organizing, speaking out, and building the power necessary to replace corrupt politicians who fail to represent all Americans. Those who block progress, cater only to the wealthy and powerful, and stand against liberty and justice for all must be held accountable.
Together, we will keep fighting for a future where everyone—not just the privileged few—can thrive. Stay strong. Stay engaged. We’ve got work to do! Join us to drive progress.
