Friends, I am constantly struck by how many people don’t realize this simple truth: nearly 80% of those who call America home did not vote for 34-time convicted felon Donald Trump and his lawless enablers.
From the very first days of his last presidency, the Not Above the Law coalition has been pushing back—with lawsuits, advocacy, and relentless organizing. And that work must continue in the states. Tonight, you’ll see how.

And the urgency could not be clearer. Trump recently “joked” that if the U.S. were in a war, there would be no more elections—an alarming hint at suspending democracy itself (C-Span). He’s also vowed to eliminate mail-in voting and voting machines ahead of the 2026 midterms, promising an executive order to ban them—despite constitutional experts confirming he has no authority to override state control of elections (AP News).
These are not abstract threats. They are existential threats to the foundation of our democracy.
This call is our collective response. Together, we will stand with those who refuse to bow to authoritarianism and affirm the truth: no one is above the law in the United States.

Who will fight for the homeless, many of them Veterans, who he is trying to make "disappear" from the streets? How will we find out what happens to them? Being poor and homeless is not a crime! It is an embarrassment to the richest country in the world and the greedy billionaires who are running it.
