STATEMENT - People Power United's statement on the United Auto Workers Strike

In response to the United Auto Workers strike, People Power United - a progressive grassroots group - issued the following statement:

“People Power United stands with our union brothers and sisters in this labor strike. It’s unconscionable that Ford, GM and Stellantis made $250 billion in North American profits over the last 10 years and has failed to protect and reward workers for their efforts.

People Power United will continue to push back against injustices and hold our leaders accountable to the people they serve. There is no power like that of the people, and People Power United stands ready to protect our communities against any and all injustices,” said Laurie Woodward García of People Power United.
