NBC: Thousands of ballots are at stake as the Supreme Court considers Pennsylvania voting rules
Marc Meredith and Michael Morse report on two new cases that take aim at Pennsylvania voting rules, in which the Supreme Court may soon intervene. Both cases are about rules surrounding mail in ballots.
USA Today: Supreme Court rejects Cornel West's last-ditch bid for PA voter recognition
Maureen Groppe reports that on Thursday the Supreme Court “rejected independent presidential candidate Cornel West's request to make Pennsylvania polling sites tell voters they can write in his name on Election Day.”

Washington Post: Trump picks one-judge Texas court for lawsuit over CBS Harris interview
Tobi Raji reports that on Thursday Donald Trump sued CBS News “over an interview with Democratic nominee Kamala Harris that aired on its “60 Minutes” program earlier this month, arguing that the network’s edit of the sit-down was “deceitful” and “amounts to a brazen attempt to interfere in the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election.” He has filed the case in Amarillo, Texas where Judge Kacsmaryk is the only federal judge who can hear the case.

In response to recent Supreme Court shenanigans, People Power United - a progressive grassroots group - issued the following statement:
“The Supreme Court has become unhinged. There is no power like that of the people, and People Power United stands ready to protect our communities against any and all injustices,” said Laurie Woodward García of People Power United.
People Power United will continue to oppose such harm to our community and champion civil rights for all.
