Good Afternoon to all my rowdy friends!
Today, I want to focus on us and our incredible journey together.
Let’s start by celebrating a milestone: People Power United now has nearly 200,000 dedicated members who have collectively taken millions of actions to drive progress in our communities. Your energy and commitment are nothing short of awe-inspiring.
However, I owe you an apology. As I navigate this journey with you, I realize I haven't always made our activism as accessible as it should be.
I juggle with many responsibilities: writing posts, conducting research, responding to your emails and comments, creating graphics and calls-to-action, sending your messages to lawmakers, updating our website and blog, attending coalition meetings, reviewing and signing coalition statements, running events, and managing our social media channels. It’s a lot for one person, and sometimes things slip through the cracks.
People Power United operates without fundraising and has no staff. Our communication on issues that helps our communities relies on both you and me. In my attempt to wear many hats with limited resources, I haven’t clearly communicated how our tools can enhance your activism. Some members have expressed confusion about Substack, and I realize now that I need to do better in explaining how we communicate with our members.

Our newsletter blog is hosted on Substack, which requires you to subscribe when you first visit. Our blog is free and accessible to everyone, though we also offer a paid subscription option with additional benefits for those who choose to support our efforts. Accessibility remains our priority, ensuring all our content is freely available.
You can access Substack from your computer or via a mobile app—you can use either or both-whichever is more convenient for you.

On our home page of the newsletter blog, you will find links to current articles as well as many issues you care about: Reproductive Freedom for All, Supreme Court Accountability, Gun Violence Prevention, Immigration Reform, LGTBQIA+ Rights are Human Rights, Healthcare, and Freedom Over Fascism. You can also search Archives for all issues or other topics you care about.
