📢 Trump: Putin’s Puppet, America’s Danger

Trump and his MAGA Republicans have consistently shown themselves to be a clear and present danger to the American people, our democracy, our rights and freedoms, and our national security.

Donald Trump has consistently demonstrated through his actions, associations, and statements that his loyalty lies not with America but with his fame and fortune and with a foreign adversary, Russia.

This is not hyperbole—it's a fact that demands our attention and action. Read on as I present facts and a way for us to push back.

Republicans, under Trump's leadership, do not want to represent America; they want to rule over it. They seek to establish a regime where power and wealth are concentrated in the hands of a few, with Trump at the helm. Trump's track record speaks volumes: a 34-count felon, insurrectionist, sexual abuser, liar, fraudster, disability mocker, sexual harasser, and twice-impeached president. His disdain for American values is evident in his actions, words, and the people he surrounds himself with.

The alarming number of high-ranking Republicans who once worked closely with Trump but now refuse to endorse him is telling. His own Vice President, Mike Pence, former Defense Secretaries James Mattis and Mark Esper, former National Security Advisors John Bolton and H.R. McMaster, and former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, among others, have all distanced themselves from Trump. They recognize him as a clear and present danger to our democracy. Their refusal to support him underscores his grave threat to the nation.

When people show you who they are, believe them.

Trump's associates further reveal his dangerous affiliations. His inner circle resembles an organized crime ring, with numerous close allies convicted of severe crimes. From Steve Bannon to Paul Manafort, Michael Flynn to Roger Stone, and even his lawyer, Michael Cohen, Trump's closest advisors have been convicted felons. This is not the company of someone who prioritizes American values; it's the company of someone who values power, corruption, and control.

Trump's actions consistently align with Russian interests, not American ones. He invited Russia to meddle in U.S. elections, sided with Putin over U.S. intelligence agencies, revealed highly classified information to Russian officials, and even threatened to pull the U.S. out of NATO, weakening the alliance that has been a cornerstone of American security. He withheld aid to Ukraine, allowing Russian-backed separatists to gain power, and he stole classified documents from the American people, refusing to return them. These actions demonstrate a pattern of behavior that serves Russian interests over American ones.

The transformation of the Republican Party into the "Party of Putin" under Trump's leadership is undeniable. They prioritize power and wealth while showing little concern for erasing Americans' rights and freedoms. Trump has spent years trying to gain Putin's admiration, and his actions suggest that he sees Russia, not the U.S., as the model for his leadership.

To lead America, a president must love and respect all who call this nation home. Trump has shown time and time again that he does not. He has made it clear that if elected again, he will use his power to punish his enemies and embolden racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, antisemitism, homophobia, misogyny, sexism, ageism, ableism, sizeism, transphobia, misogynoir, elitism, and bigotry. His vision for America is one of division, hatred, and authoritarian rule.

Make no mistake, if Trump is re-elected, he will pardon himself and his cronies, imprison his enemies, and destroy freedom and justice not just in America but around the world. The consequences of another Trump presidency would be catastrophic for our national security, the rule of law, and our rights and freedoms.

But there is hope.

The power of the people can and must prevail. People Power United and other grassroots movements will continue to push back against Trump and the Republican Party that supports him. We understand that none of us are safe until all are safe, and we know that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect and to have the opportunity to thrive—not just the wealthy and powerful.

America deserves better than Donald Trump. We deserve a president who will uphold our values, protect our democracy, and lead with integrity. By holding our leaders accountable and continuing to advocate for our rights and freedoms, we can ensure that Trump's dangerous agenda is stopped in its tracks.

Now is the time to act. Together, we can prevent Trump from regaining power and ensure that America remains a beacon of democracy, justice, and freedom.
