We have a chance to build on progress, create more opportunity, and protect our freedoms.
Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen.
Hi there! So yesterday was a big news day: Biden impeachment inquiry, the Supreme Court will hear a mifepristone case, and, of course, the ongoing budget/policy disputes.
It can seem overwhelming at times. But you should know that our grassroots group, People Power United, has your back! Saving our rights and freedoms is a labor of love, but we all must recharge. There is a powerful community that has your back. I am so inspired by all of you taking action and moving our communities towards progress!
Love never gives up. It will be our people power, determination, and love that will help us tackle racism, xenophobia, islamophobia, antisemitism, homophobia, misogyny, ageism, ableism, elitism, sizeism, and bigotry.
Today is the 11-year mark of the Sandy Hook shooting tragedy
SINCE SANDY HOOK, more than 1.1 million Americans have been shot; nearly 450,000 Americans have been killed by guns; the number of gun deaths increased by almost 50%; there have been over 4,900 mass shooting incidents; 27 states allow concealed guns to be carried without a permit; and guns are now the number one killer of American children and teens.
Let us honor all victims and their families with action:

Tonight is our 14.3 Town Hall
Sign-up here ➡️ 14.3 Town Hall
Join us for a virtual Town Hall discussion of why section 3 of the 14th Amendment of the Constitution prevents former President Donald Trump from running for and holding public office again. We will hear from Free Speech for People, one of the organizations that is fighting these cases in courts across the U.S. We cannot wait until the next election cycle; we need to act now to protect our democracy. Click here to join us.
Thanks for taking action!
Everyone deserves to vote and thrive,

I believe in the power of the people. People Power United members believe in the possibility of change and work to make it happen. I have seen the love and determination of folks stepping up to write letters and postcards to voters, signing petitions and letter campaigns, making calls, sending texts, hitting doors, and dropping literature. There is no power like that of the people, and People Power United stands ready to protect our communities against any and all injustices. - Laurie Woodward Garcia, People Power United
