Friends, shout out to all of you! We have surpassed 200,000 members taking action for our rights, freedoms, democracy, and the rule of law! 

Someone asked me a while back, "Why people power and not democrat power?" I am a proud Democrat, and while there are some things I wish the party did better (like holding war criminals accountable for their actions and stopping shipments of weapons to rogue leaders), I believe our power is worth fighting for. Our personal freedoms, rights, democracy, and rule of law are all under attack, as many of us have given up and given in. We each have incredible power, and what we choose to do with that power can make or break our future.

I also believe that we can move mountains without a bazillion emails asking people for money-which is why our group is powered by people- and not emails asking for money all the time. Our volunteers show up and chip in when it works for them, on their schedule, and with their resources. And it's working! We've built a home here at People Power United, bringing together folks from all 50 states and even some territories. We're still eagerly waiting to welcome our first member from Guam!

In this community, we will always speak out against racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, antisemitism, homophobia, misogyny, sexism, ageism, ableism, sizeism, elitism, transphobia, misogynoir, and bigotry!

Members of People Power United are a shining example of selflessness and proactivity. They don't seek validation; they act. Like heroes, they don't complain; they do something! They see a problem and jump in to fix it. Their actions, often unnoticed, make our lives better just by doing.

That is you. You are the hero of our American story.

Now is the time to elect People Power champions and hold our leaders accountable to the will of the people. We must advocate for our rights, freedoms, democracy, and the rule of law. We have a critical window to connect with people in our communities about the issues that matter and why voting for progress is essential.

I believe in you, in us, and in the power we hold when we come together.

Together, we are unstoppable when united in purpose. Let’s take action for the future we want!
