America is being held hostage by extremists

Who's to blame? Republicans? Democrats? MAGA cultists?

I believe we are all responsible for what is happening. Loss of our freedoms and rights have come from years of “it’s not my problem” or “I don’t have time” or “things never change” or “my efforts won’t make a difference”. Friendly reminder, most people in America do not vote (they can’t be bothered). I also believe that we all have turned a blind eye to the corruption we are seeing for far too long, that we are now seeing it emboldened (looking at you Clarence Thomas, George Santos, and Bob Menendez).

The incompetence of House Republicans is shameful and dangerous.

• Russia, North Korea, Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas, all benefit from a vulnerable America. The longer the People’s house is closed, the stronger our enemies grow.

• A full government shutdown is looming which will harm all Americans, but most especially the most vulnerable: Seniors, Children, People with Disabilities, Sick, and the Poor.

• World stability is close to collapse as Russia attacks Ukraine, Hamas attacks Israel, and countless other regions around the world are hotspots.¹

America and the world need a strong America with strong leadership. Unfortunately, the House GOP conference can’t find a leader to unify behind. No surprise there, they are incompetent, greedy, petulant, and well I could go on.

Pssst. Did you know? The true strength of America is in her people. You are the power!

• We must re-commit to doing the work to elect leaders who will respect our will, protect our interests, and govern in our name. And we must hold them accountable.

• We must push for leaders on the local, state, and federal levels to stand strong and protect our rights and our freedoms. And we must hold them accountable.

• Lastly, we must invest in our communities. Investments today in our children, seniors, housing, healthcare, environment, and other areas, will strengthen our nation.

With love in our hearts and hard work, we can and will reclaim our nation from the cruelty, chaos, and confusion. Will you join me?
