Hey friends—
I hear it all the time: “My Representative or Senator doesn’t listen.” I know these are challenging days. But here’s the reality: our voices are strongest when we speak together with one purpose.
Each Congressional district has about 750,000 people (Census). Yet according to Fireside21, all of Congress combined received just 81 million messages in 2022—that’s a tiny fraction compared to the population they represent (Fireside21). Which means: very few calls, letters, and emails actually come in on a daily basis. Every message you send matters more than you know.
So imagine this: if each of us committed to sending one letter (which goes to your three Members of Congress) and leaving one voicemail a day, multiplied across 533 members of Congress, that’s nearly 486 billion messages.1 That is people power in action.
81 million vs. 486 billion—and that’s not even counting social media conversations, town halls, constituent meetings, or confronting them directly through birddogging.
And if you break it down further, that means moving from just a 24% engagement rate with our members of Congress to a full 100% engagement.

Dear Member of Congress,
As your constituent, I urge you to support/oppose [bill or issue]. This issue is critical to our community, and I believe your leadership is essential in addressing it. Please take a strong stance and advocate for what’s best for the people you represent. I look forward to your response and request the chance to discuss this further in a constituent meeting. Please have your team follow up with me.

Demand our representatives REFUSE AIPAC! I learned today one of my Senators and one of my Representatives had accepted AIPAC funding! I am feeling betrayed. Research your Democratic Leadership. My Senator is currently under DOJ investigation for Mortgage Fraud. I WAS going to donate to help him fight the good fight - all bets off! Recently I wrote him about fighting to stop the Palestinian genocide. He refused saying Israel had a right to defend itself. That, I agree with, 100%, BUT this is far beyond defense. Today I learned he is standing with Israel because he had taken large amounts of money from AIPAC! Betrayed, disgusted, disenchanted! Now his name is synonymous with blood dripping from his hands in my mind. I cannot contribute to him! 15 Democrats did same. Supporting Palestine means smear campaigns that will destroy careers in office. Please research your senators, Democratic ones. Many I highly respected, I am shocked and hurt!
How do we measure the effectiveness of this action? I've sent a lot of letter from this platform, but we don't know if we are getting through.
