Equal justice is not possible with a compromised Supreme Court

Reports¹ from ProPublica yesterday show that Justice Samuel Alito accepted — and failed to disclose — luxury travel offered by conservative billionaire Paul Singer, only to rule in his favor in a subsequent case before the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court should be independent and above politics, but conservatives have stacked the court with political appointees who act on their beliefs instead of the Constitution.

Corruption and ethics scandals, political extremism, and rolling back freedoms are the greatest concerns Americans have about the Supreme Court. The court appears to be filled with political extremists who are pushing for things like eliminating the federal right to an abortion, undermining our ability to combat climate change, and endangering free and fair elections.

It’s time for all of us to lead the way and champion reforms to the Supreme Court. Can you help push for accountability at the Supreme Court?
