Off topic with apologies, but I think People Power should organize a regular one day event where the millions of us walk out of our dwellings/work and yell or email blast everyone that WE ARE MAD AS HELL AND WE ARE NOT TAKING IT ANYMORE. Let's do it once a month until the sounds of our voices stops this chaos, corruption and cruelty!
Are you also including the attacks on teachers and students who attempt to discuss Palestine in the classroom or as part of extra curriculars? Schools where books about Palestine have been removed, film screenings cancelled and faculty disciplined or even fired? Many of the organizations working to censor Palestine work with the same ones who try to ban “critical race theory” , Black and Latino History, trans friendly books and policies and DEI. The ADL is a notorious example; CEO Jonathan Greenblatt recently spoke to a group of Republican Attorneys general about the dangers of Free Palestine, Defund the Police Occupy Wall Street and Black Lives Matter. He’s also worked to eliminate or water down Ethnic Studies programs in schools. This is why the membership of the NEA voted to deplatform the ADL, even though the resolution was overturned by its cravenly board. Parents banning books and censoring curriculum about Palestine in the name of “attacking antisemitism” are often aligned with right wing groups pushing for “traditional values” and “pro American” curricula and they are using Palestine to get a foothold in schools and on school boards.
It’s true and pushed by Family research Kkk council and their policy group. Santa Clara Ca. and Anoka /Hennepin Mn were test cases. So was Ugandas Kill the Gays Bill.
