MAGA's Dystopian Vision: Deporting Americans to Foreign Prisons
The Fascism Doomsday Clock just ticked forward—again. This isn’t hyperbole. It’s a wake-up call.
Let’s talk about the alarming developments that surfaced yesterday. Convicted 34-time felon President Donald Trump and his MAGA Republican allies continue to push us closer to authoritarian rule. Their actions aren’t just dangerous—they’re a blueprint for dismantling democracy.
Take a hard look at the image above. It’s a photo of a prison in El Salvador, notorious for "overcrowding, poor access to food and water, and overall 'inhumane conditions,'" as reported by Human Rights Watch. 1
Why am I showing you this?
Because yesterday, Senator Marco Rubio met with Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, 2and now there’s a proposal on the table that should send chills down your spine: the idea of outsourcing American prisoners to facilities like this one. That’s right—you or someone you love could be deported to a foreign prison system rife with human rights violations simply for committing a crime in the U.S.
Bukele himself confirmed the proposal in a social media post:
“We are willing to take in only convicted criminals (including convicted U.S. citizens) into our mega-prison (CECOT) in exchange for a fee,” he wrote. “The fee would be relatively low for the U.S. but significant for us, making our entire prison system sustainable.”3
CECOT—the "Center for the Confinement of Terrorism"—opened in 2023 and holds up to 40,000 prisoners. This isn’t just a prison; it’s a dystopian nightmare. 4
And guess who’s cheering it on? Trump’s allies. "Great idea," Elon Musk posted on X.
This is more than an outrage. This is a flashing red warning light—a clear and present danger to everyone in America. This is what authoritarianism looks like. This is fascism in action.

We will fight back.
Billionaire Elon Musk and his cronies are exploiting our information and resources because they think they hold all the power. But that only lasts until we stand up, reclaim our power, and hold 34-time convicted felon Donald Trump, MAGA Republicans, and Naughty Democrats accountable and build power.
America works best when it works for all of us—no matter who we are or where we come from. But MAGA Republicans & their billionaire backers want to turn back the clock to a time when wealthy white men held all the power and hoarded all the opportunities. They spread lies to cover up the progress we’ve made, hoping to divide us and tighten their grip on power. We’re not falling for it. We demand a government that reflects all of us, represents every one of us, and serves no one’s interests but the people’s. No exceptions.
The choice is ours—let’s make it count.
