Radical Republicans, MAGA extremists, and Donald Trump—who may hold power but has never shown leadership—are gutting essential services for those who served. Veterans are being fired from federal jobs. Healthcare is being slashed. VA benefits are under attack. It is cruel, calculated, and wrong.
But we're not backing down. People Power United is rising—with veterans, families, and allies across this country—to say:
If our Veterans are sick, let us heal them.
If our Veterans are hungry, let us feed them.
If our Veterans seek employment, let us hire them.
If our Veterans need peace, let us fight for it.

WHY WE RALLY
In 2025, the Trump administration's policies have significantly harmed veterans, undermining their access to essential services and support.
An internal memo revealed plans to cut over 80,000 jobs from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), aiming to revert staffing levels to those of 2019. 1
Trump and Republicans in Congress are moving towards privatizing VA hospitals and clinics, which threatens access to care—especially in rural areas where VA facilities are a lifeline.
Life-saving clinical trials for veterans battling aggressive diseases like metastatic cancer and kidney failure were halted due to budget slashing—over 1,000 veterans lost access to these treatments. 2
This moment is about more than veterans—it's about the soul of our democracy.
When we defend our veterans, we defend all Americans. Jobs. Healthcare. Dignity. Democracy. It's all connected.
We rally to:
💼 Protect veteran and military family employment in the federal workforce
🏥 Stop the privatization and weakening of the Department of Veterans Affairs
⚖️ Hold political leaders accountable who betray the promises made to our heroes

Donald Trump lost the popular vote twice, yet continues to rule as if crowned, defying court orders, targeting immigrants, slashing essential services, and demanding loyalty over law. Now he wants a $100 million military parade on his birthday, using taxpayer money to stage a show of intimidation, not celebration. While tanks roll down Pennsylvania Avenue, Trump and Republicans are gutting Social Security, SNAP, Medicare, Medicaid, and Veterans Services—claiming there's no money for struggling families while handing tax breaks to billionaires. This isn't patriotism. It's authoritarian corruption in broad daylight.
But this moment isn't just about Trump—it's about all of us. If you're fed up with rising costs, civil liberties under assault, and daily attacks on our democracy, this is your moment to rise. Join us for No King's Day, a National Day of Action. Across the country, people will gather in streets, parks, rallies, and protests—showing up and speaking out. We'll declare in hundreds of cities and towns with one voice: Power belongs to the people. We rise not in fear but in solidarity, not for one man, but for all of us.

If we don't unite and act soon, we may be unable to stop, or even slow, the rampant Zionist genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. It may already be too late to end this horror peacefully or diplomatically, which is probably the worst humanitarian disaster since the Holocaust. Perhaps it will go down in history as even worse than the Holocaust because it is being done in plain sight with gigantic financial and military support from the United States!
