"White Christian nationalists believe the US was founded as a Christian nation, although the Constitution never mentions God and enshrines the separation of church and state. Its adherents twist biblical language to justify violence, sexism and hostility toward people of color.”1
White Christian Nationalists want to promote cruelty and
Embolden sexual abusers
Force You to Give Birth
Tell You who You can Love
Stop You from Voting
Ban Books You Read
Price Gouge You and Your Family
Terrorize you with Lax Gun Laws
Take Your Social Security and Medicare
Criminalize you for being poor, unhoused, and/or undocumented
Steal Your Identity
Pollute Your Community for Profit
Put healthcare profits over healthcare
Spend more on weapons of mass destruction than taking care of community issues
Embolden a compromised Supreme Court and a criminal former President
Under Project 2025 which was authored by several advocates for White Christian nationalism here is what is being proposed for Civil Rights:
Civil Rights:
Ends same-sex marriage.
Ends no-fault divorce.
Cancels all LGBTQ+ rights and federal protections.
Ends LGBTQ+ health programs.
Legislates a "Biblically based" definition of marriage and family, asserting heterosexual couples are superior.
Removes "sexual orientation" and DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) from federal laws and eliminates DEI offices.
Promotes capital punishment.
Blocks transgender people from serving in the military.
Restricts transgender rights.
Ends the Fair Housing Act.
Bans pornography.
The election of a President is not about one person. Like every election, this election is about the People of the United States and who inspires them to vote. Kamala Harris (and Joe Biden) has the receipts and has delivered in the past term:
Jobs Created: 15 million (more than the past two Republican Presidents)
Lowest Unemployment: Unemployment has been below 4 percent for the longest stretch in over 50 years
American Rescue Plan: Funded vaccination campaigns and reopened schools.
Bipartisan Infrastructure Law: Rebuilt roads, bridges, and expanded high-speed internet.
Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson: Appointed first Black woman on the Supreme Court.
Bipartisan Safer Communities Act: Significant gun violence prevention legislation.
CHIPS Act: Boosted American manufacturing and created jobs.
PACT Act: Expanded health care for veterans.
Respect for Marriage Act: Enshrined marriage equality.
Inflation Reduction Act: Lowered costs for families, promoted clean energy.
Marijuana Pardons: Removed barriers for simple possession offenses.
Protecting Reproductive Rights: Ensured access to reproductive care.
Climate Action: Rejoined Paris Climate Accords.
Support for Ukraine: Rallied international support against Putin.
Affordable Care Act: Strengthened and expanded coverage.
Criminal Justice Reform: Promoted accountable policing.
Student Debt Relief: Approved billions in loan forgiveness.
Diversity: In white house staff, cabinet, administration, and appointments
NATO: Strengthen the ties with Allies.
All of this has been with Congressional Republicans and MAGA setting our nation on fire with lies and misinformation. I see that list as the receipts for promises made and kept.
It's game on if we can elect as the next President Kamala Harris. Here is what a she can pass with a majority:
Women's Health Protection Act (enshrines abortion rights into law)
Equal Rights Amendment (ERA)
Environmental safeguard bills
Student debt relief bills
Supreme Court reforms like ethics, expansion, and term limits
Equality Act
John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act
Freedom to Vote Act
Immigration reform bills
Gun violence prevention bills
Affordable Housing bills
and make significant improvements to Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, and our healthcare system.
The best way to push back against White Christian Nationalism and it’s radical plan to turn America into an autocracy is to vote! Vote for leaders that champion an America where everyone can vote and thrive.
