The ultimate act of White privilege - I can do anything I want. (Thomas is just a wanna-be white man who has abandoned his heritage.) tRump has based his whole life on this privilege and he needs to be stopped. He is a raging cancer eating away at democracy. He did not earn the respect we traditionally grant to those who hold the highest office in the land. He did not win the popular vote. When he got over the shock of actually becoming president, he knew he just won the con of a lifetime.

We the people can not pick and choose when to abide by and enforce the Constitution. Ignoring the qualifications for president out of fear of loss by a corrupt court would be un-democratic, because it would mean abandoning the Constitution itself.

I need to edit my comment, it should read: We can't pick and choose when to abide.....
It does make a difference. We can use the abuse of power to push for change at the courts and change to our laws regarding insurrectionists: https://actionnetwork.org/letters/no-one-is-above-the-law/
