Thank you, Laurie! For the clarification, and for the Love and support, the energy, time, and effort, that you are investing in the world and in living your values "out loud."

Thank you for your personal statement. What you stated is the primary reason I read People Power United. People with narrow biased minds often make high pitched squeaky comments that are uncomfortable to hear. Such is the public square. On the other hand, I do appreciate your roar - empowering music to hear.

My response to the question: What are you feeling now, in the aftermath of what's just happened?

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the survivors. Like most people, I'm appalled by the death and carnage that has been caused by terrorists. I'm also appalled by the constant death and carnage that has been caused by the apartheid government of Israel. When I think of the Gaza strip, I remember the Warsaw Ghetto that the Nation Socialists created in 1940. This was followed by death camps the National Socialists started in 1942. How long before the apartheid government of Israel initiates death camps??? Apparently politicians do not remember history. They are the people that have allowed the Warsaw Ghetto to be recreated in Gaza. The U.S.A. needs to work for an immediate cease fire and facilitate reconciliation. The U.S.A. needs to suspend sending American tax dollars to the apartheid government of Israel. This money would be better spent helping the survivors. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the survivors. Like most people, I'm appalled by the death and carnage that has been caused by terrorists. I'm also appalled by the constant death and carnage that has been caused by the apartheid government of Israel. Genocide???

Your use of language is inflammatory. When Nelson Mandela visited Israel and he knew a thing or 3 about defining Apartheid he did not call the Jewish state that.

Facr - The state of Israel gave back Gaza around 2009 and Hamas took over governance. Hamas did nothing to build up Gaza for ordinary Palestinians. It focused all funding on destroying Israel from River to sea.

Israel IS NOT AN APARTHEID Government. Palistine had the ability to be free and they are being used by Hamas, and the Arab nations to help destroy Israel. Read the History of the region; before you state generalizations. Apartheid is not at all what is happening - Palestine people have received billions in aid and have been given the opportunity to be free. They chose to elcet Hamas terrorists and live in misery. Ask any Palestinians that live in Israel; they love the nation and are given voting rights and serve in the Israeli government

No one chooses to live in misery, suffer extreme poverty and unemployment, injuries, and death. The people in Gaza are living in the world's largest open air prison. They are victims of Hamas. And rhetoric.

This is the message I've been waiting for. Scrolling through my emails tonight and unsubscribing from racial justice groups I've supported because am disappointed to see how many can't condemn Hamas and terrorism. I'm done with them and for anyone who "both sides" this. Thank you for sharing. It's a complex issue and you got this right. Much appreciated.

Agreed! The antisemitism that lurks beneath this inability to condemn the terrorist attack in Israel is chilling and discouraging. Thank you for speaking up on staying strong in your values.

I really appreciate the kind words Anne. This is hard, for everyone. It is times like this that we earn our communities respect. I am sorry you are encountering that with some organizations. We all must do better and work towards peace and holding bad actors accountable for their actions.

Stay the course Laurie. I too know how difficult it can be to bear witness and get beat up by haters from both “sides”. Remember that you are not alone. Sending you a big hug.

All acts of terror and war endanger all of us. If we stand together to oppose all and any of these acts then maybe someday our children will live in a peaceful earth where we all reside.

Exactly. Hamas is a terrorist organization not merely resisting. But a generation or two of bots who follow influencers do not concern themselves with facts or critical thinking skills

One wrong, does not make a right!

One man's terrorist is another's freedom fighter!

War has NEVER SOLVED ANYTHING!

The carnage is heartbreaking!

I don't know the answer, but I sympathize with humanity.

The Palestinians were asked one important question by Israel since it became aJewish homeland. “Will you acknowledge that Israel has a right to exist?” It has never been answered in the affirmative! Therein lies the problem and the reason for the failure to coexist with Muslim neighbors!

I completely disagree with this statement. You are generalizing an opinion not a known fact on an entire population. That is not helpful and in fact it is dangerous.

Is your statement a threat?

Absolutely not! Your statement is dangerous, as is all types of misinformation.
