🗽 The movement for who we are and what we represent is happening now. President Biden has the authority, responsibility, and opportunity to institute this critical protection for women, girls, and LGBTQIA+ Americans. For this to happen, we need a mass grassroots movement campaign urging him to take action.
Help with this response when I sent out the request to urge President Biden to publish the ERA now: “If it's been on his desk for a year, doesn't that tell you something? Whether he's supportive or not, he's no doubt aware that adding it to the Constitution would surely prompt a call for a Constitutional Convention (to rewrite or override most of its provisions, as Repubs have been calling for) which would no doubt be approved by the current no-checks-and-balances federal government. Tread carefully.”
Please help me with the following response when I encouraged folks to write and call about the ERA: “If it's been on his desk for a year, doesn't that tell you something? Here you go: You are misinformed about the Convention. It is believed that Biden was cautious about publishing it with a tight re-election looming and threats of more lawsuits. The reality is it will be challenged at all levels. We need the Biden administration and the Trump administration on record where they stand in providing equal protection for a majority of Americans. Now is the perfect time to urge Biden.
Agreed--shameful and ridiculous that we haven't passed the ERA by now. Many years ago (1923?) this was introduced--and rejected various times through the years; and here we are, struggling again to give women these essential freedoms: body autonomy and freedom of choice. Very grateful for you and those who are working tirelessly on this, Lisa. This is our strength: coming together, using our voices to connect with those who are representing us in Congress, the Senate and the Presidency. Also, 'do' call for Town Halls, for accountability and discussion about why this is not being done and why women have no representation in our US Constitution. Let the world know how it truly "is" right now in the greatest "free" county in the world. Worth a laugh and a tear and a grieving for our US community.

My friends and I are working tirelessly on this!
Resist OR Die
It's ridiculous that we haven't passed the ERA by now. It's also shameful.
